Back In The Saddle Again
I just remembered that I wanted to keep this blog up. As you can tell most of the stuff here is pretty eclectic. Whereas here I am keeping a book blog. And I also have a Xanga blog.
I am back from a week in Vancouver. And two weeks in California, and now one week back in Texas. I will go back to L.A. in July. I guess the big thing that kept me from blogging is that my laptop is down. I’m using my roommate’s desktop at the moment.
One of my professor’s entered the world of blogging. He is going to write about evangelism. That is one of his passions.
I’ve been reading books about being Missional, and being an exile in the post-Christian world.
I should be studying Greek. I’m actually in Introduction to Greek, which basically is not required, but is prerequisite for New Testament Greek. It is fascinating to me that if one learns about 319 words, they will have about 80% of the New Testament down. This is one of the skill of the expository preacher. Although one can get software, I am feeling like I need to learn Greek…
I was thinking that I would keep this blog eclectic.
A few weeks ago my car was broken in. They stole my backpack…perhaps hoping to find a laptop, but of course my laptop doesn’t work, so perhaps it would’ve been cool if they just stole that…anyhoo the backpack contains my praise music sheets. Over 20 years of stuff gone…I guess God is telling me that it is time to sing a new song.
