Bald Diaries

I’ve shaved all my hair. You can see a pic on my Xanga. Some observations. Many people want to know why one would want to shave all of it off. Or they joke and ask me if 1. I was in jail last night, or 2. Did I lose a bet?

An ironic situtation is that I am covering my head with caps and bandanas. I am in a bit of a Pirates of the Caribbean mood. Ahh shiver me timbers. I have an eye patch back in El Paso (unfortunately).

Some things I like about no hair: don’t have to comb, its nice and cool at night, and cold water feels really good up there.

Before I shaved it all off, I was sporting a Kung Fu Fighter look sans pig tail… no queue unfortunately. I remember my cousins had really long hair and he braided it and cut if off. Remember in the movie “The Last Emperor” when his wives comment on his pony tail cut off and they giggle and comment that his queue was “heavy”.

Lastly, I see growth, some stubble pushing through. My question, do I shave it again or do I let it grow out. I’m curious how fast my hair will grow. Hence I will blog this hair raising experience.

Tonight my hair feels kind of like the old 12″ G.I. Joe dolls. I am not sure if I will shave again? I’m curious to see how fast this grows. And when does “Fearless” come out?

July 20, 2006; 12:42 a.m.—>Today at Blockbuster, the manager didn’t go out her way to solve a problem with my coupon, instead lying to me about it being redeemed already…I wonder if I experienced a backlash for choosing to shave all my hair off.

More stubble growth, not quite 1 mm.

Someone asked if I fell asleep on the barber’s chair.  I think I heard this before but it didn’t click till today…har har har. My hair is coming back thicker, on Sat. my “beard” and “mustache” were about the same consistency as my head hair…I shaved my facial hair off, so now my head hair is longer.
