Keeping Things Updated

I am being challenged to share the Gospel. One of the things I’ve learned is that evangelism is not about gaining scalps. We share because we love God and people. God commands us to tell others how Jesus died on a cross and was raised from death. He died for our sins and conquered death. John 3:16 says that “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life.” So we were encouraged to blog about sharing Christ.

I decided to come here to this blog and talk about an old Sunday School teacher, who loved us and shared the Gospel with us. I hadn’t seen her in about 15 years but when I did (a few years back) she was all excited about “Sharing Jesus Without Fear”. Her church was teaching that to its members. You basically use questions and the bible to share the good news with folks. She was so excited about it…but I believe that in general she is on fire for Jesus. It was refreshing to see. Her passion is so consistent, definitely salt and light in the world.
