Some folks maintain multiple bloggage really well. Me, I write and abandon. But I like this format with multiple categories and such…and I am not willing to pay money to blog. I read a friend's thoughts on her blog and although she hasn't written in a few months I was really inspired. In a moment of openness she wrote of a medical problem and detailed how her husband helped her. I guess cuz I know this couple I could picture the events portrayed in the blog. I most likely would not have known of her condition if not for her blog.
Growing up in the 80's it was all about the mix-tape. Blogging is the new mix-tape. I think people blog desiring to tell their story, to tell others something about themselves, and likewise when you made a mix-tape, you said something about yourself. If it contained groups like "The Romantics", "Hoodoo Guroos", and "Modern English"; versus "Motley Crue", "AC/DC" that said something about you. You'll find on sites like "My Space", and "Xanga" the music that the young people are listening to…as well as books read, movies watched, etc.

I think I will do what I see many other people do, I'll post this entry twice and write "Posted at my other blog: "Words of Woo". I basically used to only blog at Xanga:Mezuzah.

Plumbing Shop

Working at school has been cool. I get to work with a doctoral student, and 2 seminary grads, and a guy who does outdoor ministry (he and his business partner take men out into the woods and do primitive camping)…all these guys teach me more than plumbing but we discuss doctrine, philosophy, and the Bible among other things.

I like the job cuz its never monotonous. There are basically three areas that we work in, one is housing which I mean we get apartments and town homes ready for new tenants; one is remodeling, its like that show "This Old House" but I don't really work in this area, and lastly running calls. Running calls is trouble shooting and fixing problems. Which is rewarding cuz you helped someone out…and strange cuz your walking into peoples homes. Sometimes the homes are dirty, and people don't clean up after themselves…

Living by the Spirit 

I think as Christians we don't really as a whole understand this.  But I can say in the last year that God has been working in my life and there are things that I thought were important are no longer important…still it is too easy to ignore God in your life, too easy.  I think about how the Israelites had G-d with them 24/7 and yet they still rebelled.

She's back in the news.  Anderson Cooper had a piece on her recent work on CNN.  Quite interesting.  How did Julia Roberts get cast to play her?
